It depends on scope: fit-out drawings and a works plan are normally submitted to the building management office; alterations to fire installations must be carried out by registered contractors and reported to the Fire Services Department; electrical upgrades require a competent electrical contractor; and certain structural works must be submitted under the minor works regime.
